Medicaid
RDMC is currently responsible for administering the Medicaid Patient Satisfaction Survey. Each spring two surveys are mailed out to a sample of Medicaid recipients, and a third to Medicaid providers in order to gauge current levels of satisfaction across a wide array of measures. The results are placed into a database and results compiled into a year-end report comparing this year's results with previous years. The survey has been done annually since 1998, and has undergone many updates to the survey instrument as well as the data collection method. In 2008 the RDMC began using Microsoft SQL server, replacing Microsoft Access as the survey database, as well as a web based data entry form that allowed for several employees to enter survey data into a central location. This provided an increase in productivity and sustainability, and allowed for increased automation of the reporting phase of the project.
RDMC also provides data analysis and aggregation services to those with proper (IRB)? credentials and provides data concerning medical claims as well as prescription data from 1997 to the present.
